A Magician and a Parrot

A magician worked on a cruise ship.

The audience was different each week so the magician did the same tricks over and over again.

There was only one problem: The captain's parrot saw the shows each week and began to understand how the Magician did every trick.

Once he understood, he started shouting in the middle of the show, "Look, its not the same hat!" or, "Look, he's hiding the flowers under the table!" Or "Hey, why are all the cards the ace of spades?"

The magician was furious but couldn't do anything. It was, after all, the Captain's' parrot.

Then one stormy night on the Pacific, the ship unfortunately sank, drowning almost all who were on board.

The magician luckily found himself on a piece of wood floating in the middle of the sea, and as fate would have it ... with the parrot.

They stared at each other with hatred, but did not utter a word.

This went on for a day and then two days. And then three days.

Finally on the 4th day the parrot could not hold back any longer and said, "OK, I give up. Where's the ship?"

The Seven Dwarfs go to Vatican

The seven dwarfs go to the Vatican , and because they are the seven dwarfs, they are immediately ushered in to see the Pope.
Grumpy leads the pack.

'Grumpy, my son,' says the Pope, 'What can I do for you?'

Grumpy asks, 'Excuse me your Excellency, but are there any dwarf nuns in Rome ?'
The Pope wrinkles his brow at the odd question, thinks for a moment and answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Rome .'

In the background, a few of the dwarfs start giggling.

Grumpy turns around and glares, silencing them.

Grumpy turns back, 'Your Worship, are there any dwarf nuns in all of Europe ?'
The Pope, puzzled now, again thinks for a moment and then answers, 'No, Grumpy, there are no dwarf nuns in Europe .

'This time, all of the other dwarfs burst into laughter.

Once again, Grumpy turns around and silences them with an angry glare.

Grumpy turns back and says, 'Mr.. Pope! Are there ANY dwarf nuns anywhere in the world?'
The Pope, really confused by the questions says, 'I'm sorry, my son, there are no dwarf nuns anywhere in the world.'

The other dwarfs collapse into a heap, rolling and laughing, pounding the floor, tears rolling down their cheeks, as they begin chanting......

'Grumpy shagged a penguin!'
'Grumpy shagged a penguin!

Kudus is the name of Jerusalem

I’m going to kindly disagree.  This is a very big deal for the Muslim’s and particularly the old territories of the Ottoman Empire.  I have been watching many talk shows about this and reading about it.

The dilemma in the western world is that we get the news from the western perspective and donot know what happened in this area prior to 1949.

Jerusalem and Israel prior to 1949 was a territory that was taken by the British and given to people who did not live there.  This is s fact.    The Palestinians that we’re there we’re given 1-10 or 1-100 of the value of their lands and told to move.  They have been trying to stand up, but obviously cannot...

Now prior to WW1, this territory was owned by the Ottoman Empire and with the gang bang that was done by the imperial powers, the Ottoman Empire was broken up into many pieces and these territories were taken.  Now we have to remember the empire never threatened anyone in these years, the British with the help of the money lenders, took it not once but twice from the Muslim world. Once from the empire and made a territory that was occupied by the UK.  And a second time, taken from the Palestinians that were there and given to the Israelites.

Jerusalem, is a territory that has a very important value to the Abraham religions, we know that.  Islam is part of the Abraham religion and the reason El-kudus, this is the name of this area, it is believed that prophet Muhamed invited the other prophets to pray with him in the mosque with the golden dome.   I should not write long, but it is a very important city.

The concern Turkey and the rest of the Muslim world has is this.   Why is this important city being made the capital of Israel???????, the people of Judas are but one of the three people that come from Abraham/Ibrahim.

The city was taken from one people and given to another, and now made the capital.  It’s like rubbing salt in the others wound.

Jerusalem should be recognized as a capital of not only Israel but the country of Palestine, oooo by the way USA and Israel (plus a few puppet countries) are the only countries that will not recognize Palestine as a country.

I am very proud of Turkey for being the only Muslim country to stand up to Trump and say “no, this is wrong”.

I am absolutely double proud of my adopted country of Canada to not vote.

Did you guys read the tone of Trump
“Vote or else” now this is democracy ehhh? I say no, fuck em.

Sorry, this is a long email, but I have to state one more thing.  The land titles of 70% of El-kudus and the surrounding area are still owned by the members of the Ottoman dynasty that are now getting ready to put a claim against Turkey, United Nations and UK and others as these territories were owned by them and taken forcefully.  The reason it has taken the Ottoman/Osmanli dynasty this long to get organized is because the children of the Sultans are just now getting strong again and re-learning about their tragic past.  It has been 100 years since the dynasty was evicted from Istanbul in the year 1923 by the Imperial powers and all of their lands were forcefully taken.  Now some of these lands were not owned by the Ottoman Empire, these lands were owned personally by the members of the dynasty.

Now here is an example:
Now queen elizabeth owns personal property in Somalia, Greece, Croatia etc and has millions of dollars put aside, what if USA takes it and says bye bye, what would happen?

If we look at it from the reserve, we realize that there is a wrong made here, and this wrong is coming to call now.

Sunrise and a Message of Helping Everyone

I Want to Help Everyone

I Want to Help Everyone

I’m sorry, but I cannot help it, I want to help everyone.

I do believe most, if not all of us want to help one another.  Human beings are like that.  We want to live by each other’s happiness, not by each other’s misery.

In this world there is room for everyone to live the life they want to live.  And the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.

However, greed has poisoned our souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has strapped us into misery and bloodshed.

We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in our homes.  Machinery that gives abundance has left us in maximum want.

We think too much and feel too little.  More than machinery we need humanity.  More than speed we need gentleness.

The internet has brought us closer together.  The very nature of this invention cries out the goodness in society and the universal brotherhood for the unity of us all.

Even now my voice is reaching people throughout the world who might be despairing victims of a system that makes the elite 1%’ters torture and imprison innocent people.

To those who can hear me, I say 'do not despair'.  The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed; the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress.

The hate of men will pass.

Let us fight to free the world, to do away with hate and intolerance.  Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where progress will lead to all men’s happiness.  In the name of love, friendship, and progress, let us all unite, I say.

Deepest Fear

Deepest Fear

What is your deepest fear?
Ever thought about that?
What is it?
Change, resisting to it…
technology, trying to keep up,…
learning…
getting old…
speaking…
or just being a good role model…
What is it?

Is this fear, which I will call ‘darkness’ holding you back?

You playing small does not serve the world, it really does not.  There is nothing enlightened about shrinking and feeling insecure and holding yourself back, because of it.

Can you learn to stand tall against this fear?  Try it, I say, just try it.

I am learning to do this; I am learning to stand really tall against my fear and darkness.

Let me tell you something, you already know.

We are powerful, we are determined and we are all very strong, strong beyond measure.

Our light and energy should come forward, not be held back because of our fear.

We are all meant to shine as children do.  Do you remember that? Think back; think back to when how you freely conducted yourself, no fear, no darkness, and no embracement.

The shine, the light, it's not just in some of us, it is in everyone.
And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give everyone around us permission to do the same.  Think about that…

When we liberate ourselves from our own darkness, our strong presence automatically frees others from their very own fear.

Thank you…

Things are Bad

Things are Bad

I don’t have to tell you things are bad.

Everybody knows things are bad.  There is a depression out there, yeah.
Everybody’s out of work or scared of losing their job.
The dollar buys a penny’s worth.  Banks are taking our money and charging us outrageous service fees, yeah.
Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter.  Punks are running wild in the street and there’s nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there’s no end to it, right.

We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had some more homicides and numerous violent crimes, as if that’s the way it’s supposed to be, yeah.

We know things are bad – worse than bad.  It is crazy, right.
It’s like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don’t go out anymore.  We sit in our house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is: ‘Please, at least leave me alone in my living room.  Just leave us alone.’

Well, I’m not gonna leave you alone.  I want you to get MAD!  I don’t want you to protest.  I don’t want you to riot.  I don’t want you to write to your congressman.

I wouldn’t know what to tell you to write to your  congressman.
I don’t know what to do about the depression and the crime in the street.
All I know is that first you’ve got to get mad.
You’ve got to say: ‘I’m a human being, god-dammit! My life has value!’

So, I want you to get up now.  I want all of you to get up out of your chairs.  Open your window and stick your head out, and yell: ‘I’m mad as hell, and I’m not gonna take this anymore!’

Things have got to change.
But first, you’ve gotta get mad!…
You’ve got to say, ‘I’m mad as hell, and I’m not gonna take this anymore!’ Then we’ll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis.  But first, get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: ‘I’m mad as hell, and I’m not gonna take this anymore!’

Thank you for reading,

Time Does Past Fast

Time Does Past Fast

Is it just me, or is time clicking along fast? As I write this, it is the end of August.   Eight months of the 2017 year is in the books, that was fast.

Where did it go? I do not know, but I wish it would slow down a bit.

Or are we having too much of a good time that we are not noticing it go by.

Yes, yes, yes...that is the answer, I will stick with.

What do you think? am I on to something here, please let me know,

thank you.

Lost my iPhone 6

Lost my iPhone 6+

Lost my iPhone 6+ by leaving it at the back seat of a yellow taxi in Istanbul.   Me and my son Ahmet were sitting in the back, while my wife was sitting in the front seat.  We had a conversation with the driver as he said that he was assigned to a station in Kucukyali of Istanbul.  However, we did not think to get his plate number, which would have made it easier to locate the driver later.

Also, when getting out of the taxi, I noticed that it was actually a blue car, but painted yellow over it.

Lastly, it was a small SUV type vehicle not a sedan.

I hurried home, and my brother in law Gokhan completed a google search and found out that there were a minimum six taxi stations in Kucukyali, this was not a good news.  He called all of them, but no driver had brought back a phone to the station.

I decided to go to Kucukyali and visit each taxi station.  Kucukyali was half an hour away by bus.  The first station I visited was called Kucukyali Merkez taxi, and the attendant advised me that they did not have a driver with the description I gave them, plus he advised me that there were ten taxi stations in Kucukyali and he gave me a list of all of them, this was more bad news for me.

I walked to the following stations with out success:
Kucukyali Merkez,
Altmisuc,
Kilavuz,
Karayollar,
Altintepe, and
Isik.

I was getting exhausted and sweating, literally I was wet with sweat.  Plus, I was losing hope, actually I had lost hope already and I had walked for over two hours and I was feeling like I was wasting time now and in my mind, I thinking of having to organize my old phone as my new phone one again.

The next taxi station on my list was Aydinevler, this station was north of the E5 highway, and therefore took me another 30 minutes of walking.

I went into the station and spoke with the attendant and after my description of the car and the driver, he called the driver and the driver said "yes he had the iPhone", I was almost in tears, I was soo very happy.  The driver was on his way back to the station to give me my phone.

I walked over to the near by corner store and bought one litre of coke, Fanta orange juice and lemonade as a gift to all the drivers at the station.  They were very pleased at this action of mine.

The driver came, we hugged, I grabbed my phone and walked home with a smile and joy in my face.  The drivers name was Alaeddin.

This was my last day in Istanbul prior to returning to Canada the next day, it will be the most memorable day of the entire trip as it has very low emotions to extreme high emotions.
