The All Seeing Eye

The All Seeing Eye

Have you ever wondered  what the 'All Seeing Eye' and the 'Pyramid' on the USA 1 dollar bill symbolizes?

          Annuit coeptis

I will briefly write about this today, but in another blog, at a later date, I will expand on this topic.

I did a lot of research and concluded that  they mean the following:

Eye:
The Eye symbolizes the omnipresence and omniscience of God watching over all things.  It's also associated with the "Trinity".  Also, The Eye is regularly associated with spiritual knowledge in scripture.

Pyramid:
The Pyramid symbolizes a connection of "three".  The Father, Word and the Holy Ghost are "one".

Man is made up of three parts: body, soul and spirit.

Time is: past, present and future.

All colors derive from three basic colors (plus white which is the absence of color): red, blue and green.

Matter is: liquid, vapor (gas) and solids.

In life, everything is in threes and therefore often symbolized in the three lines of a triangle.

Sincerely,

Ben

Ikhlas Chapter of Kuran

Ikhlas Chapter of Kuran

Ikhlas Chapter, English

Ikhlas Surah, Arabic

Ihlas Suresi, Turkish

I wanted to write a blog, linking today's topic to my previous write-up titled 'Surah Al Fatihah'.  Please look for this 'educational' and 'informative' write-up in this blog.

Here is today's topic.

In the religion of Islam, Ikhlas Surah, is the 112 chapter of the Holy Book Kuran/Quran.  There are 114 chapters in the Holy Book, and 'Ikhlas Surah', is a short chapter at the end, with only 4 verses.

The chapter focuses on absolute declaration of Allah's unity and guidance.  Also, in the chapter, the believers of the religion, requests mercy from Allah.

'Al-Ikhlas' means 'the purity' or 'the refining'.

Below are the 4 chapters;

First sentence is in English.
Second sentence in Arabic.
Third sentence is in Turkish.

-------------

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Bismillahir Raḥmanir Raḥim.

Sonsuz kerem ve rahmet eden Allah'ın adıyla, okumaya başlıyorum.

1.
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only,

Kul huvallahu ehad,

De ki: Mutlak varlık olan Allah tektir.

2.
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute,

Allahussamed,

Kendisine herseyin muhtac oldugu Allah,

3.
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten,

Lem yelid ve lem yuled,

O, ne dogurdu, ne de doguruldu,

4.
And there is none comparable unto Him.

Ve lem yekullehu kufuven ehad.

Hicbir ortagi da yoktur.

Alma Mazlumun Ahını, Cıkar Aheste Aheste

'Alma Maslumun Ahini, Cikar Aheste, Aheste' - Atasozu

I would like to explain what the above Quote means.  I will first write what it means in Turkish, as it does have a deep meaning.

Afterwards, I will translate it to English.

First of all, I need to explain what 'Atasozu' means.  The 'Atasozu' is used for 'sayings' 'quotes' 'proverbs' that have come from centuries past, and the author is an unknown person from society.

Now, the Turkish meaning of the quote is writing below:

Her insan zulme ugrayabilir.  Allah, zulme ugrayan insanın yaptıgi bedduayı mutlaka, bir gun kabul eder.  Bu beddua'gin duasi kabul eden Allah, ocunu o zalim kimseden alabilir.  Ama sabir gerekir, cunku elbet 'dua' kabul olur.

Bundan dolayı hicbirimiz, kimseye zul etmesin.  Sonra yapılan kotulugun cezası omur boyu cekilebilir.

And now, the English translation.

We as humans might one day come across a very bad person, who might try to take 'advantage' from us.  For if this happens, we need to remind the 'wicked' person that I will pry to the All-mighty for punishment.  And that punishment, will indeed, one day, will occur, as my prying will surely be accepted from the 'Over-seer'.

Therefore, live a 'honest' and 'pure' life; without exception.

Kind of a 'dark' topic today, however thought to share.

Thank you again, for reading.
